Thankful for Family

Mom & Dad were here this week & we sure enjoyed spending time with them! Mom got to experience the joys of my Bunko group...it was fun to have her meet all my friends! One day we visited several museums...the airplane museum at Love Field and the railroad museum at Fair Park. Dad flew the T38 in the Air Force so he was thrilled to see one on display, it was a trip down memory lane! I love to hear stories about his wild & crazy days in the Force! We celebrated Thanksgiving {a week early, but does it really matter?} Mom & I baked a bone in ham, cheesy tators, corn, bread & a lemon pie...not the traditional Thanksgiving feast but all are family favorites! {turkey is such a hassle and I hate the "innards" shoved up the backside....gross!} I really miss spending quality time with family, I guess it makes you appreciate the times that you do have together even more!
