Sammy's 600...

Sports history was made last night and we were there!

Sammy Sosa joined the 600 Club with the likes of Babe, Hays, Aaron and Bonds. We usually only go to the ballpark once or twice a year...

so, we were feeling pretty lucky to have been in attendance!!

That is the good news.

The bad news is that when the famous homer was hit, I was waiting outside the men's restroom, yup, the RESTROOM, for my friend Jimmy!!! Argh.....just my stupid luck!

I'm pretty sure Jimmy will not live this one down for awhile! Oh well, they are sure to broadcast the replay a million times! :) Each time reminding me that I freaking missed it! :)

{ Do not tell Jimmy, but it is just as likely that if I was in the ballpark, I would have been talking & missed it anyway! Ha! }

Oh yeah, I'd be glad to sell my commemorative poster & ticket stub to the highest bidder!
