We're Home!

Hello everyone...I'm baaaack!
Sorry it has been so long since my last entry...I guess I needed a little vacation from blogging! I'm learning that I have developed some faithful readers that were starting to wonder about me! [I have often wondered if anyone actually reads this or even cares!?!]Well, do not fear....I'm home now & prepared to blog about all of our adventures! :)
We had sooooo very much fun this week & I have an estimated 500 pictures to prove it! This is how I spent most of my day today....feet on the dash, enjoying the scenery. Early this morning we stopped for a stretch break & I got a couple of neat pics. This fabulous one room school house sits quietly on a hill near Hwy 50 in Kansas. We have photographed this before, however, this time was different...morning light.

Most of the time when we cross over the Red River it is merely a trickle...however, today it was 5 feet above flood stage. We were thankful there was no flooding over the interstate...because I very selfishly wanted to just get home! Our rain gauge measured six [6] inches of rain. That, my friends, is a lot of rain in one weeks time! I emptied the gauge before we left!

Photo a day & the Funky Monkey galleries have been updated.... More tomorrow....I'm whooped...time for nightie night.
