You really are out there...I just got scared for a minute!
To continue with my American classics theme, I changed my blog header from American Gothic to Mr. Presley. You just gotta love Elvis, don't ya? Ummm, I sure do. *swoon*
I added a new link called I was once a BsktgirlBlog Header! over on the side with the other Random, Quirky, Nonsense. I think my blog headers say a lot about my state of mind/mood....anyhoo, once I get my computer back from the shop, I'll add the older ones. Yeah, my laptop is at the hospital getting a new dc plug port thingy...it had a short in the connection so it would flash from battery to charging and it like to have driven me crazy. Hush up, I know it is a short drive, I'm just sayin! Anything that beeps, flashes or makes a repetitive noise makes me nuts...I think it relates to my 12+ years in the NICU. They call it ICU psychosis :: pretty sure I have that. Yup.
Speaking of the NICU, I don't think I have mentioned to ya'll that I have gone part time! It was our answer to my rapid burn-out. Everyone who is part time assures me the difference is amazing. I sure hope so!

Today I am grateful for: friends that make me smile.

I hope PT works out better for you. If DD ever questions some decision I made (like buying more toys - I am bored, not the kids), I remind him that mental institutions aren't cheap, either.
BTW, I saw PioneerWomen's ranch on the way back from Branson. She only lives about 25-30 miles east of here. It is the most desolote land I have ever crossed.

Happy Birthday! I came via your cousin TJ's blog. I just had to say "thanks" for being a NICU nurse--our youngest spent 6 weeks there after being born full term with CDH. We had some awesome nurses! :) She turns 3 on Monday, she's come quite a long way from her NICU days.
