I so admire folks who can take fun, funky fabric patterns,
various textures and all sorts of colors
combine them and come up with
a gorgeous room like
them for everyday use...

I love vintage things.I love the idea of re-use & re-cycle,
yet I really have trouble sometimes seeing how
those things will look/fit into the "big picture."
I suppose I am a little afraid of color. I hesitate to
mix red and purple and orange.
So I go for brown, taupe, black = safe.
I've been thinking about how to step out of
beige and into vibrant? Hmmmm....

I'm right there with ya. Just ask Amie. She's always picking on me about how everyting in my house is some version of "brown". I don't have the eye for decorating. But I know what I like when I see it somewhere else! I just want someone else to come to my house and decorate it for me. Use all my old stuff and mix with some "pottery barn" style stuff...yea, that would make me happy! :)
