AND THEN...when the second load was finished and ready for the dryer - it was as if the tub drained but did not spin. *perfect* So, needless to say, we will be having a new machine delivered this week.
In other news...we finally got to see a show at the Bass Performance Hall in downtown Fort Worth. A visit there has been on my list. Thank you, BSG for humoring me and seeing Little House on the Prairie, The Musical! You da best! xoxo
The Hall is done in Art Deco style with marble floors and a wonderful fresco on the ceiling.
We sat in the cheap seats on the Lower Gallery
and discussed Statler & Waldorf
and President Lincoln's assassination.
The show was just okay, in my opinion.
We had a difficult time hearing/understanding the songs
and the stage was really far away.
I couldn't get an up close and personal view of Melissa Gilbert.
Plus - I could have done without the rotten little boy kicking my seat the entire time...
he could have cared less about Laura Ingalls Wilder.
I have seen every episode of Little House...at least 10 times.
Everyday after school my sisters and
I would get off the bus, grab a snack
and watch life's drama unfold in Walnut Grove.
I've always wanted long hair in braids...

I am teaching my girls to love Little House too. When we find it on the Hallmark Channel, Em always wants to watch it!!! Ahhh tradition!
Ella went through a serious Little House phase about a year ago. We read every book and I still DVR the show off Hallmark for her to watch. I much prefer her watching that ("Yes, Ma.") to all the snotty little parent-less cartoon characters! Sorry to hear the musical wasn't on par with the show!
i LOVE little house on the prairie! and my aunt (who is only four years older than me, and therefore more like a sister than an aunt) and i use to grab a snack and watch an episode after school too!
ahhh....memories! :)
