I want a bird.
I do not want just any bird,
I'd love an African Grey Parrot.
They are the most amazing
little creatures & ohhhh so smart.
They say these parrots are like
having a 5 year old child - but can live up to 50 years!
This is Lil Red. Brian's Aunt Cheryl adopted her recently.
Gorgeous shades & variations of grey. Fabulous feathering!
Did I mention that they talk?
They mimic sounds like a beeping
microwave & they quickly learn to repeat phrases
that you frequently say!
Can you imagine the bird calling the cat or dog! Too funny!
Here you can see the signature red tail feathers.
She was hilarious...dancing around, rubbing her beak
back & forth, almost flirting with the grape! She loves banana's too!
After this I convinced her to perch on a wooden spoon!

That is a pretty bird. You can be an old bird lady instead of an old cat lady. ;)
children leave home around 18....50 years is a lifetime - yours and theirs...consider wisely.
