'round here....

Just look at this scrumptious-ness...skillet pizza from the weight watchers cookbook!
Roasted red peppers, cappy ham, olives & fresh basil - oh so good. Every couple of years the BNSF
runs an 'Employee Special' train as an
appreciation for its employees...
Thursday evening we enjoyed a leisurely ride
through the N. Texas countryside via the rails.
Brian asked Willy to join us for the ride...
Brian & Willy volunteer together and have become buddies.
Willy is a huge railfan.
Railfan, that's what railroad fanatics call themselves.
A true railfan can tell you more information then you knew
was possible! They know stuff about color schemes and locomotive wheel
arrangements. They know about history and operations and time tables
and schedules and derailments and meets and wyes and .......
Well, you get the idea! :)

Brian & Willy enjoying the view from the upper deck in the dome car. Couldn't resist sharing a few more flood pictures...

Basket 16 caught more than discs!
In just 24 hours all this water was gone, amazing.

I was amazed at that in San Antonio, too. 4 foot flash floods and an hour later, you wouldn't even know a drop had fallen. That beats the stinky, disgusting weeks of water from up north!
