Today was my final visit with Little. We made valentine cards, played with Tanner and went to dinner with Brian. Big Brothers Big Sisters asks for a one year committment upon signing with the program - we have been matched for 16 months. I fulfilled my commitment plus some - so why do I feel guilty?
We had our first run with Tanner + the new kennel Thursday morning. We put Tan Man in the kennel for less than an hour - the time it took to go out for breakfast and return home. Upon our return, he scootched the kennel across the floor, slung slobber everywhere and was coo-coo for cocoa puffs! The good thing is that the kennel held up and he didnt manage to escape...so, we will continue to try. Baby steps, people, baby steps!
In other news: We are planning a trip to Vegas, baby!
