The last days have been a hodge podge of carpet installers, furniture movement and laundry. A little over a year ago we put new carpet in the living room & hall...Friday the master & guest bedroom got theirs. It was tempting to go ahead and paint the master while everything was moved out - but in the interest of time, I chose to wait. (plus I didn't 'feel' like painting which leads to certain disaster on new carpet!) Dont you just love the feel of new carpet and a cushiony plump pad under foot?
We also retired the large wooden bed in favor of a smaller metal frame.
Not very exciting stuff...but sometimes it's the small things in life!
The guest room is open & ready for business!
Good thing, because Mom & Dad are on their way! ;)
