Master Bed | Bath

Lets take a before look at the master bath. These are realtor pictures, sorry for the poor quality, they did not enlarge well, but you get the idea.
The before...

Carpet in the bathroom (yucko!) and who could forget this ....  um, Christmas wallpaper?

The after...
The large, unframed, builder mirror, carpet, white cabinet pulls, wallpaper...bye-bye!
Virgil (our handyman) removed the wallpaper - I was not falling for that again.
Bleeker Beige paint from Benjamin Moore.
I recycled/reused the light fixture by spray painting over the gold with a hammered bronze spray paint.
We'll have to hire a plumber to replace the faucets - some smarty soldered them in!

The large mirror over the garden tub is also gone - exiting the shower was a mirrored 3D experience, one I did not enjoy!  :)  I'm still on the hunt for just the right art to fill this space.

This view is entering the bath from the bedroom.  In my perfect world, there would be pocket doors or something to seperate the rooms - for when someone is up early to get ready and to block sunshine from the gigantic skylight while trying to sleep during the day.
I planned the new decor in the master around the pepperberry duvet and by pure luck came across this framed canvas art at Pier 1 ... the colors are perfect and inspired the blue accent color.

There you have it...my 'grown up' master bedroom.
I believe, except for painting some trim, that the upstairs is now complete!  Yay!
Virgil will be invited back to tackle more wallpaper downstairs and change up some walls!
